Hello everyone,
I have a few quick updates for you.
First, Elder Christofferson is coming in a couple weeks. We are all excited to get to meet and learn from him.
We've had really great lessons with Tim Logan. The Spirit has been really strong in those lessons. He was actually a Buddhist, but now hes realized how important Jesus Christ is and he can see how much Elder Agbuya and I love our Savior. We think he wants that. We talk a lot about families and that's really what touches his heart. I can tell he thinks a lot about his family. We also had a lesson with a women named Carmen. She is so cool and the way we found her was actually through a member named Sister Holley. Sister Holley is the best! She fulfilled her "member missionary" challenge when she ran into Carmen at the apartments pool and talked with her about gospel and families.
We also had service at Sister Cunnings, the sweetest convert I've met. We've actually helped her twice now the last few weeks. The first time we moved a couple of boxes and the Harley (the back tire was flat, which made it interesting) and this last time we cleaned a work bench. We were rewarded peanut butter milkshakes. Yum! Throw back to Mesa.
Monday Zone activity. Our whole zone came together (even the ones up in Payson) and had a super fun sports night. I'm so out of shape now! I wouldn't give up driving Delila though (that's my cars name). We got pizza and then 2 Payson Elders stayed at our place because the next day was Zone Conference! At ZC, we learned a ton about the Book of Mormon. There's so much that can be pulled out of 1 Nephi 1. It's a powerful chapter. One of my favorite quotes from my studies this week comes from President Nelson... "The full power of the gospel of Jesus Christ is contained in the Book of Mormon. Period."
Ettiqute dinner with bananas and apple juice. I learned a lot about how to eat with more manners.
Exchanges with Elder Horrocks. I loved being with my MTC companion again! We had a really good day and actually had quite a few miracles. We were trying to find a certain apartment and didn't have any success. So we turned to head home when we heard someone coming. We then met a really sweet girl about 15 named Eva. She was walking her dog and she told us about how much she loves Jesus Christ. We shared a message about the Restoration and gave her a Book of Mormon. She was so happy! She couldn't even believe that there was more to read about our Savior. She was excited to tell her dad about it too. One more crazy awesome thing. Eva somehow taught her dog, Oliver, to give hugs like a human.
Another experience I had this week was giving a blessing to one of the sister missionaries. She is really sweet and wanted to feel her Saviors love in a special way. She asked Elder Oldroyd and Horrocks for a blessing and we tagged along. We met them at a nearby church and then prepared to give her a blessing. She wasn't sure who she wanted to give the blessing, so us Elders went into the hall and prayed to know. The feeling that each received was that I was the one that needed to give the blessing. I was nervous and turned all I have over to Heavenly Father. I said a quick prayer in my heart that he would give me the words she needed to hear. It ended up being very special.
Today's been pretty normal so far. I cleaned the apartment. I put up our 3 area maps too so I can memorize the roads and apartments better. We then shopped and got Subway. Then came home and played a Go Fish game that all of us are hooked on. It's actually called Fishers of Men and the cards are prophets. The loser always has to do the dishes! 😂 I haven't done the dishes yet. 😉
That's about everything. Love you!

All the pictures with clothing pins is a game that was fun, but now is madness. The object is to clip one on someone else without them noticing and see how long it lasts.
